Old fashioned pantang...

My 2nd baby gap / old navy spree has arrived today... another sunday! :D I have been v ill the past days, feverish and all... mom in law says dat I post too much on baby before she is born... she pantang ask mi stop posting so I wun be posting in my FB... think I will post after she is born :D Till then, adios! 3 months to go!

First spree for dodo's baby clothes :)

dodo is due like 3mOnths to go... but I already begun shopping haha :p these are too cute to resist! I am surprised dat the DHL delivery man came on a Sunday and only 4 days after shipping from the States :D That's awesome quick! I hope dodo likes her new clothes!

I haD another dream, the 1st dream was last week before the scan when I had a conversation with dodo.... dat's how I first knew she is a gal :D I cannot decide wad name she is gg to be called :D hehe...my favourite as of now would be Clarice :D the second dream is dat dodo will come out on Vday.... hahah! :P Excited...... envious of friends who can dress up their dodo and bring to zoo and everywhere :D Already bought some cutie clothes from oldnavy.com :p mOm in law and dad in law are discussing wad to cook for confinement (?!) haha.... a few mOre months to go :D

It's been eons since I updated :p

dOdO is now 23 weeks old!!! :D and she is a baby girl!! :D:D:D:D:D Honestly I have been feeling quite scared all this while as worried especially her heart.. cos I work in the childrens ICU where a lot of babies come in with all those problems.. THANKFULLY she is healthy... I am super excited cOz I finally have someone to inherit my Blythe dolls, Sylvanian families, vintage carebears collections and all those plushies!!! LOLs... hUbbi will havta wait for the next dOdO to inherit his toy cars then.. :p He didn't wanna participate in conversations on dOdo's potential name all this while and sudddddenly he randomly and insistently wants to name her "Kylie Chiew" ... Actually quite nice. I wanted Clarissa Chiew but his good friend's newborn took the name this week!! Dun want to have same name... LOL... Hope she likes her name :D Dodo is not born yet but I am having a field day looking at old navy webbie... baby girls have soooooo many cutie and pretty stuff to buy!!! baby boys get none! :P HEHEH.... I have decided already to give her 2 pony tails and die die make sure she makes it to Saint margarets primary like I did! :D:D:D ganbatte... polkadot is love! :D

New house

Pine Grove has been sold off and grandpa would move to Sunset way which is a stone's throw away...it's under going reno nOw so everything's kinda exciting. My Pinnacle hOme didn't even get a renO so everything's a new experience for mi. Hope grandpa likes his new home and for the first time, he won't be living in landed property but it's still a very charming estate to live in. A place for dodo to visit every week... :D

im on annuaL leave this week, much of the time was spent for dad's surgery work up~ hUbbi too busy wif sch and wOrk to spend time wif mi... thankfully I have mi Rilakkuma bear? The one I brought back from Tokyo... it's reliving my childhood once again. Hugging it to sleep at night.. carrying it wif mi around the house to watch tv wif... surf the comp wif etc.. LOL :P

Lunching wif bestie :D

Met up with my bestie Jac :D actually wanted to go to Ayam Penyet Ria but she brought mi to somewhere else in Lucky Plaza for this yummy Indonesian food dat makes the world best Gado Gado I had been craving for! The irony is dat it is yummier than those served at a lot of expensive restaurants I'd visited! :P Chilli (sedaps) and soup's free flow... the ayam rox and the keropok fantastic! :D:D:D:D:D Best part is lunching with bestie cos we got so much to tok about! :D wahaha! Same level of chemistrY.... I am very glad that mi dodo will be born a pisces, can get along wif ALL my besties ... Samantha (Pisces)... Booboo (Pisces)... Olivine (Cancer).... Jenniffer (Scorpio).. and of cOz Jac (Scorpio) :D Happy! :D:D:D WAhahaa!

I have been having a super good life. Been deployed to the gen ward for 2 months right after my 3 weeks Japan holiday. Been busy going out with family and v good friends almost on a daily basis. Been thinking about happy dodo who is due to see Prof again next week for a 2nd photoshoot :D A year ago, I would never have imagined mi life to take such a turn :D :D :D I am so happy!

I am quite happy despite being thrown into the fire to burn alive today. Coz early in the morning when I said gd morning! to D.... she asked mi hOw is the sun shining in dawn land? HAHAHAHAHHAA...... everyone fears her but I love talking to her! She is not an unreasonable person. She rationalises things and straightens out a lot of things. I'm happy there are such pple around. Then on the way hOme... K said I am a 开心果 n asked why I'm so happYz... but u noe wad it is actually not my usual highhhh.... cos there r also pple, especially E who remarked that I am not my usual SUPER happy self even though I still seem happy. LOL... you know wad? the sun shines in dawn land everyday and nothing will dampen my weather. Time to buy some pistachios to share around..

Back from Holiday....

Scaled Mount Fuji, did some onsen foot spa, developed nausea towards all milk tea, onigiri, ramen, potato salad.. haha... brought back a lot of rilakkumas including a GIANT rilakkuma... hahaha... jUz got so tired when I came back dat I juz wanted to sleep... it's been a week since I'd been back, distributed a lot of chocolate and glued to mi bed, especially when mi bed is the most comfY.. haha :D i guess it was worth spending so much on our bed :x ooPs. We bought an Ipad2 wif 3G and max gig... still learning hOw to use :x hahaha!

had been thinking about a lot of my friends and ex who havta rent a room/house elsewhere~ cOz either nO $$$ or nOt eligible for hOme LOan~ or who can't be bothered to bUy a place cOz they will go overseas in future~ been thinking about the ah peks who have to sleep outside downstairs on cardboard boxes (that dOn't juz exist in Japan) ... also those married couples who havta apply 10 times still can't get the apartment they want? we are xInfuz to have shelter, be it our own, or our family hOme~ it can be simple but it is safe and cOmfy...

- toilets :D

been reflecting on the toilets we have? I am super excited to be going back to Japan coz I absolutely lOve their toilets :p wahahaha... multi functional spa toilets in normal shopping centres , everywhere! wif buttons u can press for music, bidet, even dolphin sounds, perfume and so forth. So shiok :D wahahhaa.. and very very clean also. If can, I will buy 1 back. :p I also remembered my recent trip to Xi An.... the toilets there scared mi... basically they have this cubicle, maybe the size of our staff room toilet, floor is those muddy Kind... dig like maybe 6 holes in the ground.. n pple juz go in and do their business in full view of everyOne! and the cleaniness... omg. You have no idea how OCD i am.... sorry... I don't mean to sound ungrateful but I got very edgy and irritable no matter how hard I try to embrace it. sorry sorry.... :( but it made mi very appreciative of wad we have :D even though ours may be simple, but it's mostly clean :D

- travels :D

going to a few great places in a year... im looking forward to visiting some beach resort overseas after mi Japan trip :p this is why I love living here~ love our airport, also love HK airport :p and we can travel freely wifout too much restriction on visa etc~

- wOrk :D

excited to be going to MICU and SICU for one month attachments each... since nOw we have many staffing can afford to send mi there~ even though I also wish can go to 88 also :p Coz ... done the central line course yet haven't done my checklist~ i really like PICU coz I love the baBIes and chiLdren.. i am so thankfuL they let mi explOre and learn about other ICUs... it's like, travelling, not out of the countrY but out of our ICU... as an ambassador of sorts ... *LOL* OMG dawnie you are thinking too much .... PLS.. STOP .. IT... :D:D:D most of all I muz love everydaY .. no matter where I am :D Choose wad I like an LIke wad I choose. Loving it :)

We work out cOz we are different, as lOng as we coMplement each other. We learn frOm each other, cOz we have something to offer, and progress towards a beautifuL future.. it is not free from tears, the fights can be violent, struggles and collision of ideas and plans.. but there is juz something endearing about him.. makes mi feel cOmfy... that is why, no matter wad happens, he is my best friend in this wOrld .. praY dat i will cherish it mOre :D and become less difficult to live with, less selfish and sweeeter... but I am unable to be nice to hiM. LOL... cos I dun feel like it.. but it is a blessing in disguise... I wun smother him :D win win solution!

Fathers day dinner~

Ynight went to dinner wif YK, daddY+mOmmi in law. :D Asked my own dad along for his first fathers day dinner but he , who initially agreed, ended up saying he can't make it~ Sad but wadever. I am used to disappointments in life. The let down was made up by super yUmmi fire steak and apple pie :D Here are the Yummy pics!!!

A lifelong dream~

Since I was a child, I wished and dreamt and waited for the day I can have a meal wif a table of people I love. It could be mi and mi parents (believe it or not I have never eaten together with them at the same table before). As I got older, I thought about him but we have vast difference in the kind of food we like because I am not willing to be the fast food junkie he is. Maybe one day, if I ever decide to have children, hopefully they will like wad I like? Should they even be given a choice? why am I even thinking about things like that? Maybe trying to focus more on other aspects of life, to build the strength in order to fight back?

Reasons to smile :D

I did both manicure and pedicure today .. I really love it :D

We had a very WOW! potluck party today... there was SO MUCH! from beef, chicken curry to prawn , to chapati, quail egg masalas, to oyster omelette, to hokkien mee, to briyani, to carbonara, to super portebello mashed potato, to pasta salad, to Pies, to beehooon in malay style and filipino style, to Indian salad, to Gula Maleka, to cheesecake, to fruit tarts, to konniyaku jelly, to ice cream crepes... wooooooo~ so shiok :D even though we ate at about 2pm but I'm still v full :p WHAHAHAA.... luckily I brought garden salad coz everyOne brought super high carbO foods :p hehehe! I was hungry the entire shift cOz the food smelt so good dat the aroma spread through PICU :p and we were waiting for the star, our dearest Jackie to arrive~~~ will miss her a lOt hope she coMes back soon :D :D :D

Mi will be gg to SICU next roster, will miss PICU but I will be back really soon~! lol.. :p Time to explOre and see wad it's like there :D

Attended TC meeting today~ learnt a lot of chim proverbs... quite good :D wahahhaa! Got friend accompanY mi for the meeting :D :D :D Nice, don't havta go alone *Happys* :D

THe last time we had this last year on his bday he had chest pain needed to go to the hospitaL... this time, he got chest pain again but dun need to go to the hospital. :p OOPS! That's why we only go there once a year... and this year I had grilled fish wif salad!!! :p WAHHAHAHA...

Went to grandpa house... I inherited all of popo's tupperware.. brought home like 6 huge boxes of tupperware... brand new!!! They said dat popo's favourite place was Takashimaya and she was a shopping queen, so there I inherited a lot of her stuffs :p The En bloc for Pine Grove probably going through soon :D So happy!!! Can't wait for the money. I want to pay off Pinnacle. *Waiting waiting!!!*

I had dinner wif YK.. ah yee... grandpa... the helper... at famous Tanglin Halt Hainanese western :p Yums ...Actually didn't wanna eat for dinner cos had lots of salad for lunch somemore not hungry...but then wanted to spend more time wif grandpa when he is still alive~ and he loves fish n chips. LOL... okay tmr I shall eat only porridge... tabaoz to workz... :D We had a nice walk in Dawson shopping mall and then came home :p Nuaing on mi bed now :D
